Automobili Lamborghini has achieved a new production record in 2010, with Gallardo number 10,000 rolling off the production line at Lamborghini’s factory in Sant’Agata Bolognese.

The V10 Lamborghini Gallardo, with its permanent four-wheel drive, has become the most successful Lamborghini model of all time. Starting with the original Gallardo Coupé launched in 2003, the model range was extended with Spyder and Superleggera models as well as special editions such as the Gallardo SE and Nera.

The current Gallardo LP 560-4 Coupé was launched in 2007 with increased power denoted by its ’560′ badge, and permanent four-wheel drive signified by the ’4′. The same enhanced performance and technical modifications characterize the LP 560-4 Spyder, which was announced in 2008.

The limited edition two-wheel drive LP 550-2 Valentino Balboni was revealed in 2009 and at the most recent worldwide premiere at Geneva Auto Salon this year Lamborghini presented the Gallardo LP 570-4 Superleggera: a lightweight version of the already lean Gallardo LP 560-4, with a top speed of 325 km/h and acceleration from 0-100 km/h of 3.4 seconds.

BRENTWOOD, Essex, 25 June 2010 – Ford of Europe will debut its stylish and technologically advanced new Mondeo at the 2010 Moscow International Automobile Salon on August 25. The new model – in UK dealerships in October – features a restyled exterior and uprated interior, new high-efficiency Ford EcoBoost petrol and TDCi diesel powertrains, plus a host of new driver comfort and convenience features and safety technologies.

The first official preview images show that, following similar updates to the Ford S-MAX and Galaxy models earlier this year, the new Mondeo is the latest to benefit from the continuing evolution of Ford kinetic design.

BMW ConnectedDrive enables innovative incorporation of BlackBerry smartphones via Bluetooth – an internationally unique function available for all BMW models from autumn 2010.

Munich. As part of the ongoing expansion of office functions in BMW ConnectedDrive, BMW is now the first automobile manufacturer in the world to enable e-mail messages to be received inside the vehicle enabled by a Bluetooth connection. From autumn 2010, owners of a BlackBerry® smartphone made by the mobile phone manufacturer RIM (Research In Motion) will be able to access the phone’s e-mail function via the operating system iDrive. A new Bluetooth interface to integrate the BlackBerry device into the vehicle enables e-mails to be received, displayed on the Control Display and even read out by means of an optional voice output function. With this innovative technology, the premium automobile manufacturer continues to extend its leading role in the integration of entertainment, communication and online functions in vehicles.
