Inside Line has taken Mercedes-Benz in an adventurous convoy in Australian desert facing washboard roads, insects, snakes, dead camels and heinous heat.
The washboard dirt tracks made short work of the AMG’s Bilstein rear shocks, forcing mechanics to pull the pieces altogether for one short stint before replacements could be flown in. Likewise, the spare tire carrier and both side-view mirrors suffered cracks along the way.

Game developer ISOTX today announced the release of the final extensive game expansion for the real time strategy mod MidEast Crisis 2. The update includes the addition of an entirely new faction: the UN Peacekeepers, a complete overhaul of the game website and new game maps.
New faction
The UN Peacekeepers have a wide range of units at their disposal, including the M1A3 Abrams tank, medibots (the latest in medical technology), the mighty Brummbar supertank, the Requiem (an advanced tactical bomber), F-35s, and the Comanche attack helicopter.
Although the UN Peacekeeper units are state-of-the-art, they are also very expensive. As a result, the UN forces are often outnumbered on the battlefield by the other factions. But rest assured, these highly trained units can easily stand their ground in hostile situations. The UN Peacekeepers play quite differently to the other factions, being well suited to a more defensive style of play.

United States Army Command and General Staff College at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas has chosen Scourge of War: Gettysburg for inclusion in its suite of classroom training simulations. The Army is using the game as part of its professional education program for developing the next generation of senior Army leaders.
Scourge of War: Gettysburg is being used in two different Fort Leavenworth classes. The first class trains Simulation Operations Officers and will use computer driven simulations such as Scourge of War: Gettysburg in combination with classic map, rulebook and dice war games the Army traditionally uses.

THESE VEHICLES MAY HAVE A TRANSMISSION SHIFT CABLE THAT WAS IMPROPERLY INSTALLED AND MAY COME OUT OF THE TRANSMISSION BRACKET.
Consequence:
THE DRIVER MAY BE UNABLE TO SHIFT THE TRANSMISSION OUT OF GEAR, RESULTING IN NO MOTION OR THE SHIFTER MAY INACCURATELY INDICATE THAT THE TRANSMISSION IS IN PARK WHEN IT IS NOT, ALLOWING THE VEHICLE TO ROLL AWAY AND CAUSE A POSSIBLE CRASH.

Performance elements from V-series offered for standard models from $2,065
DETROIT – Cadillac is offering some of the performance elements of its V-series product line on standard 2012 CTS models through the new Touring Package Sedan, Coupe and Wagon starting at $2,065.
The new CTS Touring Packages include such luxury features as Recaro seats, microfiber suede inserts on the seats and steering wheel, high-intensity discharge (HID) headlamps, a performance-tuned suspension, a V-series aerodynamic spoiler and performance wheel packages.
“One of the best aspects of high-performance machines like the V-Series is that they bring new elements into the brand that enrich the rest of the breed,” said Cadillac Vice President of Marketing Don Butler. “The new Touring Packages give CTS buyers access to some desirable V-Series elements, in a more-approachable format.”
