SEGA® of America Inc. and SEGA® Europe Ltd. announced that Total War Battles: Shogun™ is now available on the Apple App Store. The latest addition to the award-winning Total War strategy series from The Creative Assembly, Total War Battles: Shogun is a re-imagining of Total War, not a PC port, and is a strategy game designed specifically for mobile platforms with a multi-touch interface.

Total War Battles: Shogun puts players in the role of a hot-headed young samurai who vows to avenge the death of his father. He embarks upon on a journey of conquest across medieval Japan, through over 15 hours of thrilling and unique tactical challenges. Players will construct bases, train armies of Samurai, Warrior Monks and stealthy Ninja, marching them into battle against their foes. Alongside 27 core missions, there are also 18 challenging side-quests that generate extra experience points. Players can use these to upgrade their buildings and units, and gain the edge in future battles.

Total War Battles: Shogun also offers simultaneous multiplayer on the same device, pitting gamers against each other in fast-paced real-time battles that rely on bold moves and swift counter-strategies. Designed specifically for touch-screen devices, the game scales its appearance to provide the best experience on every supported device, and takes full advantage of iPad 3’s high-resolution Retina display. Total War Battles: Shogun for iPhone and iPad hits the iTunes App Store today at $6.99/ £4.99/ €5.49.  An android version is coming soon.

Available on June 15 th, Lollipop Chainsaw is the ‘un-deadly’ story of sweet but killer zombie-hunter Juliet Starling and her quest to uncover the root of a colossal zombie outbreak. New technology for the AMG off-road icon: the new 2013 G63 AMG impresses with a state-of-the-art powertrain, expressive new design and improved efficiency. All this is largely attributable to the AMG 5.5-liter V8 biturbo engine delivering 544 hp and the AMG SPEEDSHIFT PLUS 7-speed automatic transmission. The 2013 G63 AMG makes its U.S. showroom debut in August.

Every new AMG high-performance vehicle offers an outstanding mix of “more power from less fuel” – and the G63 AMG is no exception. The “strong man” in the AMG model range has been further enhanced with the state-of-the-art powertrain of the new ML63 AMG. The design has been comprehensively refreshed, so that, for the first time in the 33-year history of the G-Class, AMG customers can enjoy some of the latest cutting-edge systems: spray-controlled gasoline direct injection, the ECO stop/start function and alternator management. The AMG 5.5-liter V8 biturbo engine develops a maximum output of 544 hp and a torque of 560 lb-ft. This enables the 2013 G63 AMG to accelerate from zero to 60 mph in just 5.3 seconds, with a top speed of 130 mph (electronically limited).

Prey 2 on hold

Bethesda statement:

Development of Prey 2 has not been cancelled but the game will not be released in 2012 as planned. The delay is due to the fact that game development has not progressed satisfactorily this past year, and the game does not currently meet our quality standards. Prey 2 has shown great promise and we regret disappointing our fans. We have made a substantial investment in game development to deliver the experience fans want. We are determined only to release the AAA game that fans rightfully expect, and are unwilling to compromise our quality standards to meet a release schedule.

U.S. Clean Diesel Auto Sales Increase 35 Percent in 1st Quarter of 2012, Hybrid and Electric Car Sales Also Jump Dramatically

Clean diesel automobile sales in the United States increased an impressive 35 percent during the first quarter of 2012 continuing the strong gains in diesel car purchases in 2011, according to new sales information compiled by HybridCars.Com and Baum and Associates.

The U.S. sales of clean diesel autos increased 39.6 percent in March 2012 over March 2011, 42.9 percent in February, and 21.2 percent in January.

During the first quarter, U.S. hybrid car sales increased 37.2 percent and the emerging plug-in electric car market saw a sales increase of 323 percent. The overall automobile market increased 13.4 percent in 2012, according to the new sales information.
